Disaster Recovery
VoIP is resilient.
Datasharp VoIP works at layer 3 (i.e. the IP in VoIP). VoIP itself looks and acts just like any other IP-based application, such as Email. The user, no matter where he or she is, need not worry about the actual location of the mail server. The user simply plugs into an Internet connection, fires up the VPN client and just like magic, email works. There's actually no magic about it, that's just the way IP is supposed to work. The same thing can be done for hosted telephony if IP is being used. Anywhere there is an Internet connection, there can be buisness telephony, it is that straight forward.
To help ensure complete peace of mind, Datasharp's secure main hosted VoIP centre is fully backed up by a totally seperate mirrored data centre (located approxiamately 1 mile away) ensuring that in the event of complete failure at data centre one, normal service will resume within seconds at data centre two.
